Congratulations to long time voyeur of this blog, Nicky, and his new wife Jo on their wedding last weekend. It all went really well and the meal, speeches, cheesy music went down really well. There are some photos of mainly the evening and the following day. Thanks to Chris for a great Stag weekend in Sheffield too – shame the bouncers didnt let us into the club but otherwise it was great.

Apart from that, it’s Freshers week in Sheffield, 8 years since it was my own freshers week. (That seems strange saying that)… It all came flooding back yesterday and felt a bit strange. I have been here all summer when the University has been pretty quiet. Obviously I now look too old to be given flyers for clubnights on Wednesdays. Anyway signed up for a Spanish course so I am still sort of a student. And tonight will be going to the Tuesday club to see the drum’n’bass don, Mr Andy C. No doubt surrounded by 18 year olds being sick on each other…
